Location and Accommodation

Deerview Farm is a small working farm set on the edge of beautiful Ashdown Forest. We have a Farm Shop supplying free range eggs, herbs, vegetables and a wide variety of home-made jams, chutneys and our own honey.

We have three bedrooms to choose from, one with a king size bed and en-suite facilities, a twin room (also used for single occupancy) and a large double/family room. There is a large garden for use in the summer and a lounge with log fire for the winter.

We offer pleasant accommodation and a friendly service at reasonable prices. Farmhouse meals are available (with advance notice).

Children and dogs welcome.

Local Attractions

The pretty village of Fletching is within a few minutes drive (or 15 minutes walk for the energetic). It has a well stocked village store, two pubs and an historic church.

For the walker/rambler/cyclist there are many public footpaths, bridleways and country lanes to be found locally and of course the wide-open expanses of the Forest itself.

Sheffield Park Gardens and the Bluebell Railway are also within easy reach.

The historic towns of Lewes, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings etc are all within easy driving distance.

For shopping there is Brighton and Eastbourne, as well as the towns mentioned above most of which have shopping malls so are accessible during all weathers.

The beaches along the South Coast are within very easy reach.

There is also an abundance of olde world pubs in the area, all serving delicious food and there are also excellent Chinese and Indian restaurants in nearby Nutley, for those with exotic tastes.
